Shipping Policy
We strive to provide the best value and reliable delivery for all our customers.
- Orders of $15 or more ship FREE
- Orders under $15 ship at a flat rate of $3.99
- All orders are shipped via USPS First Class
- Estimated delivery time: 5–7 business days
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM CST (weekdays) are typically processed the same day
- We ship to all 50 states and U.S. territories (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico)
Once shipped, customers will receive tracking details to monitor delivery status.
Delivery Policy
Orders marked as “Delivered” by the carrier are considered fulfilled.
Inherited Seeds is not responsible for:
- Lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery
- Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer
- Delivery delays caused by the carrier
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking and ensuring secure receipt of their package.
Product & Packaging Standards
We take great care in packaging all orders.
- Our heirloom seeds are non-fragile, dry agricultural goods
- All products are securely packed in protective bubble mailers
- Packaging methods are standardized and tested for safe delivery
Due to the nature of the product, physical damage during normal transit is highly unlikely.
Damage / Transit Issues Policy (IMPORTANT)
If your order arrives damaged:
- You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- You must provide clear photos of both the product and outer packaging
Failure to meet these requirements will result in the claim being denied.
Claims submitted:
- After 48 hours
- Without photographic evidence
- Without prior contact
may not be eligible for refund or replacement
Returns & Refunds
We stand behind the quality of our seeds.
However, due to the nature of agricultural products:
- Returns are accepted only for unopened items in original condition
- Return requests must be made within 14 days of purchase
- Return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund
Opened, used, or tampered items are not eligible for return or refund
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate shipping information
- Monitoring delivery status using tracking
- Contacting us promptly regarding any issues
Failure to do so does not qualify for refund or replacement.
Limitations of Liability
Inherited Seeds is not responsible for issues arising from:
- Improper storage or handling of seeds
- Environmental or growing conditions
- Delays in reporting delivery or product concerns
Chargeback & Dispute Policy
We are committed to resolving all customer concerns quickly and fairly.
Customers must contact us directly to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback.
Failure to follow our resolution process, including:
- Contacting us within 48 hours
- Providing required documentation
may result in:
- Claim denial
- Dispute rejection in favor of the merchant
